Coach Kaito started her CrossFit journey back in 2011 at what was then CrossFit Attitude (now Origin Mayfield) and started coaching soon after. She grew up playing soccer with her 4 brothers and represented Country NSW, but upon taking up CrossFit, she retired her soccer career and took on CrossFit full time and hasn’t looked back. “I have always been a competitive person and CrossFit was a perfect fit. It allows you to strive to constantly get better at so many different things – when you achieve one goal there is always something else to strive for. You get your first pullup, you set your sights on a muscle up; it is very addictive”.
With a drive to become the best coach she can be and share her passion with as many people as possible, Kaitlyn has completed her CrossFit Level 2 Trainer Certificate, CrossFit Kids Certificate, CrossFit Gymnastics Certificate and Australian Weightlifting Federation Level 2. She has also completed a course for Pre and Post Natal exercise and is happy to apply this knowledge for members.
Kaito loves a heavy barbell but hates a toes to bar! Her favourite benchmark is Grace.
“If I didn't live so far away, I’d love to train at Origin myself, the gym isn't like any other I've been to. I love that it’s laid back and encouraging, yet professional at the same time. Athletes are held to a high standard with awesome coaching and effective cues. Everyone is provided the tools to reach their individual goals whatever they may be. I really appreciated the influence and opportunities that CrossFit Origin has given me as an athlete.”

Prior to becoming a member at CrossFit Origin, I was conducting similar training myself in a chain gym. I was getting bored, not getting the improvements I desired and lacked discipline & accountability. Since joining CFO my physical capacity has improved out of sight. I am making big strength & functional gains. I feel like I look good and I am feeling great about myself. I am constantly challenged and feel alive after only 3 months. But the best part is the community: the shared experiences, camaraderie & challenge are by far the most valuable. Making great mates and having fun together.

Thanks CrossFit Origin for helping to guide me into a proud paleo & muscular mum. With four years of CrossFit I am still learning from my coaches. The coaches vary there coaching style to suit everyone. It doesn’t matter how long you have been going, how often you go or how uncoordinated you feel, our coaches support everyone and in turn the rest of the members offer the same support to each other. I love being a part of the welcoming CrossFit Origin Community.
